Nancy O'Dell started her career in the broadcast industry as reporter for WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. She later became a morning news anchor as well as crime reporter for WCBD TV. Her reporting of the ineffective response of the police towards DUI incidents in Charleston resulted in an investigation being conducted by the State Law Enforcement Division, that led to a revised policy from state officials regarding DUI cases. According to the Associated Press awarded Ms. O'Dell her Best Report of the year award for every aspect of South Carolina media. After her time in Charleston, O'Dell worked as an anchor co-host for the NBC's Miami Station WTVJ-TV as well as an investigative reporter. After that, she joined Access Hollywood to work as an anchor on weekends and weekdays. O'Dell is the anchor of choice at Access Hollywood. In addition she has contributed in NBC News Today and Dateline NBC. She has reported on occasions like The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted the Pre ShowArrivals Programs during The Emmys.
